Description
The primary function of this position is to assist in the development and implementation of hospital wide and departmental solutions. The post holder will work as part of the ICT projects team in the installation & support of new and existing solutions. The Person: You will need to demonstrate the following: - Business Analyst experience. - The ability to liaise successfully and sensitively with Hospital staff, Hospital management and 3rd party suppliers by expressing and addressing issues clearly and articulately. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - A high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative. - An ability to write clear and concise English. - ntellectual clarity that demonstrates that a brief given on any issue is fully understood. - Determination and a willingness to make a success of the project. - Be able to work as a member of the project team and very closely with our client (the hospital) and their Team. - Have a sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the post. - Be happy to work as a member of the team and are expected to participate in the complete development process from obtaining and understanding user requirements, developing system requirements specifications, installing and supporting the system in the client's site. NOTE: The extent and speed of change in the delivery of health care is such that adaptability is essential. The Business Analyst will be required to maintain, enhance and develop their professional knowledge, skills and aptitudes necessary to respond to a changing situation. Our Client is at the developmental stage therefore, the job description must be regarded as an outline of the major areas of accountability at the present time, which will be reviewed and assessed on an on-going basis.


Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining awareness of the mission and values throughout the Hospital in relation to all Information Technology activities. Outline: - Carry out feasibility analysis/business case definition when required. - Work with multiple internal user groups to establish requirements. - Plan, manage, control and deliver ICT projects and programmes as required - Manage all issues associated with projects. - Manage all project risks and develop contingency plans. - Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders both in verbal and written form. - Ensure all solutions are tested and acceptance testing is completed and signed off before implementation. - Liaise with stakeholders and manage contracts to ensure successful delivery of project. - Train users and staff. - Support users on go live of project(s). - Carry out post implementation reviews ensuring maximum benefits have been achieved. - Carry out testing of systems where required. - Perform data validation analysis and support development of reports. - Setting up and maintaining a series of standard reports (including KPI and statistical reports). - Fault logging and follow up to help desk and 3rd party vendors. - Reporting enhancement documentation, acceptance, testing and roll out. - Reporting requirements from 3rd party vendors – devising, testing and implementing new upgrades. - Ensuring database security and data quality standards are adhered to and highlighting any deficits. - Demonstrate an understanding of clinical staff requirements in relation to system functionality.

Minimum qualifications
Previous experience in a Business Analyst role or similar 2+ Years Minimum
Preferred qualifications
Experience working in the Healthcare sector an advantage but necessary.
