Excellent Opportunity exists for a Conference Events Assistant, Dublin North - Top Client - 1 year contract to start August 2015 - you need to be immediately available for this role! (ideally) The Role Organisation and Event management Responsibility for AV equipment and technical setup for events. Resolve any onsite issues. Responsibility for diary management and co-ordination with both internal and external stakeholders Arrange travel schedule and reservations as needed Manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities Sit in on and take minutes of executive committee/ management team meetings Provide support organising events and meetings as required Provision of administration support to a Team. Organisation of Events Speakers, Book rooms, catering, event organisation setting up meeting rooms etc. Finance Administration The Person – Essential – You must meet the criteria below before being considered 3-5 years Event Organisation or Administration experience providing support min. 3 Max. 5 Excellent verbal and written communication skills Leaving Certificate Secretarial Course Strong Microsoft Office skills & fast accurate typing skills (you will be tested) in particular PowerPoint. There is be flexiblity required from time to time and some travel required also. Minimum qualifications
Leaving Certificate Recognised Secretarial Qualification Min. 3 years office support experience ideally in Events
