Senior .NET Developer in Malta

Reporting to the Head of Software Development, the Senior Developer will work together with the existing Development Team to develop and maintain the website and related systems, including mobile platforms. The Developer will also take part in the entire development cycle as defined in Scrum methodology.

• Provide guidance to junior developers • Ensure the right development of a work package • Develop and integrate components into a larger product • Respect coding best practices, including unit test • Respect delivery due dates • Document and comment the code • Develop functional knowledge on sports-bets, poker, payments, and other industry relat-ed products • Break down and estimate development issues (features, improvements and defects) • Independently take issues from Sprint backlog • Deploy releases to test and staging environments • Assist operations team during deployment to production environment • Qualifications and Experience: • At least 6 years working experience, 5 of which in a .Net development environment • Microsoft qualifications will be considered an asset • Experience from agile methods (Scrum, XP) • Experience of business critical web development in a 24/7 business • Experience from successful team collaboration

Minimum qualifications
• Solid knowledge of framework ASP .Net (> 2.0) • Solid knowledge of C#, Vb.net, HTML, XML, Javascript • Solid knowledge of Visual Studio Tools • Solid knowledge of Transact-SQL • Good knowledge of MVC 3 or 4 • Knowledge of TFS • Excellent communication skills • Fluent in English, both written and oral • Ability to document work and business requirements • Good analytical skills • Driven and results-oriented • Takes own initiative • Self- starter • Team Player with good social skills • Positive attitude • Easy to adapt and flexible
Preferred qualifications
Desired Skills/competencies • Knowledge and understanding of SpecFlow or automated testing • Knowledge of developing/integrating payments systems or anti-fraud technology • Previous experience within the iGaming industry.
